Sun Valley Drive is based in Denver, Colorado, although the members are somewhat spread out these days. Their early music was was influenced by the bands Yellowcard, Blink 182, and Say Anything, to name a few. They have an array of songwriting styles and continue to evolve, but their pop punk roots will always be apparent.

The band regularly works with Grammy award-winning producer Erich Talaba, who is known for engineering albums with Sara Bareilles, Ben Harper, Fallout Boy, and Yellowcard.

Their fourth album, “Traveling Broke + Ugly” is scheduled to be released at the end of 2021. They recently recorded four songs for a highly anticipated upcoming video game due in late September that they can't wait to play.
